Uma visão das condições análogas à escravidão no âmbito do trabalho doméstico no Brasil contemporâneo.
Resumo
The objective of this work is to show when domestic work can be considered a work
analogous to slavery, to define the temporal marks of the suffering brought to this day by
prejudice in this field of work, starting with the investigation of the slaveholding inheritances
of Brazilian society and its possible reflexes in the conditions domestic workers, which have
had a negative influence on the evolution of fair and isonomic legislation. Late legislation,
full of gaps, which for many years benefited the employer and devalued the employee,
brought to the present cases that marked the history of Brazil. the Madalena Gordiano Case,
where she was exploited in this work, the victim was exploited and did not have her basic
labor rights respected, such as her right to come and go, she was also subjected to forced
labor, her working hours extrapolated the hours agreed by law , was kept in degrading
conditions, did not receive a salary, did not have the right to vacation, much less had her
Work and Social Security Card duly signed, among other civil, criminal and, mainly, labor
problems. This work in question was based on the use of a bibliographic approach method
and documental research technique (books, newspapers, internet), the main objective was to
show a timeline of the problem that domestic workers face until contemporary times and end
with the search for valorization social and formal role in the domestic labor market.
