Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate a brief historical evolution of the internet in Brazilian society, from its beginning until the creation of social networks, means of communication which facilitate the connection between people and the possibility of personal entertainment, along with the possibility of personal entertainment by posting contents such as photos, videos and personal opinions. With its popularization, users started to expose themselves too much in this environment, known as a place with few rules or regulations capable of restricting certain actions by users, creating a digital vulnerability that increased the occurrence of cybercrime. However, this monography highlight the 3 main laws that aim to combat the practice of this crimes are pointed out.
