Metodologias auxiliares no ensino das disciplinas de estruturas no campo da engenharia civil.
Resumo
This work addresses the activities related to the development of an auxiliary teaching
methodology. Such methodology consists in the use of structural parts in reduced size
and in real size, which aims to facilitate the understanding of issues such as, strength
of materials, concrete I and II, Theory of structures, among others, treated in the
disciplines of structures in civil engineering courses, through a laboratory of structures.
This project seeks to improve the understanding and stimulate the interest of new
students in the understanding of the content and facilitate the learning of the disciplines
of Structures in Civil Engineering. To achieve such purpose, it was thought the
elaboration of a laboratory of structures, a laboratory that is still in process of project
and that will be shown its use in future works, in it would be inserted prototypes, of
different types and sizes that are present in this work, representing concepts such as,
slimness index, bending, torsion, flambage, as well as a structure in real size,
composed of beams and pillars illustrating the position of the reinforcements, types of
reinforcements in beams, positions of the pillars, among other concepts. Through
these prototypes, it is intended to include the student in their learning routine, show
each theoretical concept, in a real way. For the execution of the materials were used
several materials of easy access, being able to reproduce these prototypes to be used
in different environments and in different institutions. It is worth pointing out that the
chairs involving the concept of structures are the chairs of the course of civil
engineering where are presented several theoretical concepts of the behavior of
materials when subjected to stress, however, as will be explained throughout the work
these prototypes come with the intention of making the learning experience more
active and more understandable to students and easier to be transmitted by teachers.
