Abstract

This research presents a study in the area of emotional abandonment in its reverse modality, aiming to analyze the legal impact of emotional abandonment in the lives of the elderly and the consequences applied to the case. Data collection was acquired through bibliographic research, provided by scientific articles, books, theses, dissertations, magazines, academic websites, and e-books. It is noteworthy that a greater approach on abandonment regarding the elderly is necessary, considering that the subject of greater knowledge and approach is paternal-filial affective abandonment.
