With technological advances in the social environment, there are several
paradigm shifts, such as: internet access for everyone, regardless of social class,
color or gender; facilitating information; conducting classes, especially in the current
days regarding the Covid-19 pandemic.
The internet also influenced the Brazilian electoral process, insofar as it
promoted the spread of information, whether true or not, thus, its reach is
increasingly broader. When entering the electoral law, it can be noted that, before,
advertising was restricted and exclusive to newspapers and more traditional
communication channels, however over the years this has been changing quickly
and succinctly with groups from WhatsApp, Telegram and other media of easy
movement of news.
Thus, the present work provides FakeNews in elections in the world, Brazilian
and Ceará, thus analyzing the context in a global parameter in comparison with the
current pre-campaign 2022 political scenario, and what the Superior Electoral Court
has on the aborted theme and his narrative of prevention against malicious news.
