Abstract

This paper seeks to explain Compliance as a fundamental tool in the day-to-day The present work seeks to explain the concept of Compliance, pointing out its practice as a fundamental tool in the corporate day-to-day of companies, regardless of type, size and sector in which it operates. It shows that in times of a pandemic, Compliance arrives in a positive way to help avoid risks inherent to business activity, highlighting its benefits and characteristics. It is noteworthy that good management involving good corporate governance practices and application of Compliance could have avoided the closure of many companies, providing a different scenario in the national economy. The changes that the pandemic has brought to the work environment, the arrival of the home office, and the importance of being in compliance even during the isolation of public life, exposes the vulnerability that we are susceptible to on a daily basis.
