Abstract

It is a fact that human memory is flawed. This, does not work as a camera or HD computer capable of saving all the moments experienced by someone in a given space-time. The present monograph has as its bias the theme of False Memories, aims at the theme of False Memories from the perspective of evidence dependent on memory, Psychology of Testimony, Crimes against Sexual Dignity and wrongful convictions. The search was sought, from the well-known case of erroneous condemnation, "Maníaco da Moto", to highlight the important contribution that the Psychology of Testimony has attributed to the field of Criminal Law through the scientific knowledge..
