    Desenvolvimento de sistema computacional para o dimensionamento de lajes de concreto armado como ferramenta de auxílio acadêmico

    Resumo
    This work has as objective the elaboration of a computational system, called DIMILAJES, that generates a routine of calculations for the dimensioning of reinforced concrete slabs, using the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) through Microsoft Office Excel. The adoption of this programming language aims to make use of it pleasant through a simple, intuitive, and practical graphic interface, since it has help buttons, graphics, and textual elements to facilitate use. Through the user's input data, the system efficiently, accurately, and automatically scales slabs with latticed, ribbed, and solid joists of rectangular geometry, submitted to a uniformly distributed loading, having as prerogative the recommendations of NBR 6118:2014 - Concrete structure design - procedures. The determination of the bending moments in reinforced slabs in one direction, unidirectional, occurred by the analogy of a unit beam strip in the direction of the smallest span. For the determination of the bending moments for the reinforced slabs in two directions, the simplified Method of Marcus was adopted, given the better understanding of the calculation mechanisms of this method. In the proposed example, we tried to compare the values obtained by the system with the reference values of an example extracted from the bibliography, where the calculations adopted in this system can be validated and verified that the DIMILAJES system met the initial proposal, being viable its academic and professional use.
