Manual de boas práticas para recuperação estrutural em peças submetidas à corrosão
Resumo
Armor corrosion is a pathological manifestation that compromises the building's
durability and performance. The present work addresses the activities related to structural
recovery in parts subjected to corrosion, such as beams, columns, slabs and reservoirs, with
the objective of recognizing the pathological manifestation caused by it, which can arise from
various factors such as poor execution of the work, lack of maintenance, design error, among
others, identify means of treatment for reinforcement that presents corrosion and point out
prevention and maintenance techniques applied to reinforcement parts that are in the process
of corrosion for those structures that are compromised. Even with technological advances, the
pathological manifestation remains present, causing damage to the building's useful life. The
basic steps for the recovery and repair of structures with corrosion of armatures are:
preliminary inspection, detailed inspection, delimitation of the area, removal of deteriorated
material, cleaning, reinforcement lining, restoration of the structure and structure lining. It
was observed that the time between the identification of the problem and the corrective
intervention is decisive in the complexity of the procedure adopted for the recovery, requiring
immediate maintenance to be carried out after the damage is identified and the repair needs to
be effective and not only aesthetic for that does not compromise the residual useful life
period, ensuring that the structure will still be able to perform its function.
