Prevenção e atuação em situações de assédio moral no trabalho: sob a perspectiva da psicologia organizacional e do trabalho.
Resumo
Work is an important part of people's lives, as it is associated with personal and
professional fulfillment and obtaining financial resources. However, it can also be a
source of stress and pressure, for example, when there is violence within the
organization and moral harassment. Within this context, organizational psychology
stands out as it plays a fundamental role in preventing and acting in situations of moral
harassment in the workplace. The objective was to investigate prevention and action
strategies in situations of moral harassment in the workplace, using a perspective from
organizational and work psychology. This is narrative bibliographical research, carried
out in the following consultation sources: Google Scholar, Virtual Health Library,
Scientific Electronic Library Online, Pepsic, websites, books and legislation relevant to

the topic. Various aspects related to bullying in the organizational context were
addressed, including the specific objectives, the risk factors that can contribute to the
emergence of this problem, the physical and psychological impacts, and the prevention
and intervention strategies carried out by organizational psychology professionals. It
was possible to conclude that the main risk factors were: female gender, young age
group, discriminated groups, licensed employees and sector of activity; The impacts
involved the appearance of mental pathologies or other disorders, increased
absenteeism, impaired organizational climate and reduced productivity and
professionals' interventions were based on training, training, creation of therapeutic
groups, psychoeducation and active listening.
