    Resumo
    The present title work, a case study of the impacts on the lack of maintenance in a photovoltaic system to guarantee its energy efficiency, addresses the theme and exemplifies the need to carry out periodic maintenance in photovoltaic energy generation systems and propose preventive measures to order to ensure its energy efficiency of the system to ensure the manufacturer’s warranty. Having as object of study the National Service of Industrial Learning - SENAI, located in Fortaleza - CE. The research focused on proposing and suggesting measures that can maximize gains in energy production and minimize possible deterioration of system components, in particular photovoltaic panels that are directly exposed to the incidence of sunlight and weather. The work also addresses the importance of the growth of solar energy as a sustainable option, does not emit polluting gases and does not generate waste, producing clean energy. The work ends with the methodology, analyzing and accompanying a case study in a unit at SENAI (National Service of Industrial Learning), where a variation of performance between solar panels was observed, in the analysis of the results it was given by the result using a equipment that traces an I-V curve of energy efficiency and in the conclusion it was evident that there may be indications that this variable is due to the state of dirt of the panels.
