Impactos da educação parental no desenvolvimento sócio emocional da criança.
Resumo
Parental education and its effects on children's behavior makes room for researchers interested in understanding parenthood and its implications in child development. Parenting styles or parental practices were associated with the theme of this work whose objective was to investigate, analyze and understand the effects of parental education on the socioemotional and moral development of children in the acquisition of socially accepted behavior. Through a integrative literature review, concepts such as parenthood, childhood, socio-emotional development, among others aligned with the theme, were explained. The methodological path started from the search in the BDTD, Scielo, Pepsic and VHL psychology brazil databases, considering the descriptors that were correlated with the theme. It was highlighted that negative parental practices showed a relationship around children's behavior problems and the rigidity of parents considered as authoritarian associated with the model where control and discipline are maintained through punishment. The results reinforced the relevance to broaden the view on the actions of parents recognizing that there is much to be done around the task of educating.
