Diversidade sexual em pauta: contribuições da psicanálise para o entendimento das subjetividades lgbtqiap+.
Resumo
This article's main objective is to contribute to the understanding of the subjectivities of
LGBTQIAP+ individuals based on psychoanalytic theory, with specific objectives: presenting
the contribution of psychoanalysis to sexuality studies since Freud, exposing how we arrived
at the current understanding of LGBTQIAP+ subjectivities and rescue the contributions of
psychoanalytic theory to the understanding of these subjectivities outside the category of
pathologies. To this end, Freud's texts and the context of questioning the naturalness of
sexuality for which they paved the way are taken as a basis. In development, we point out
interactions between Psychoanalysis and demands for depathologization of the LGBTQIAP+
community, highlighting that it is a public vulnerable to violence. Furthermore, we bring
forward points of discussion acknowledged by feminist queer studies. We also bring up the
contexts in which terms such as “homosexuality”, “heterosexuality”, “sodomy”, “inversion”
and “queer”, used to characterize the sexuality of individuals, emerged. Issues relating to
masculinity and femininity are also addressed. Finally, the positions of contemporary
psychoanalysts on maintaining an open listening to different subjectivities regarding sexual
diversity are emphasized.
