Os impactos da síndrome de fear of missing out - fomo - no ambiente de trabalho.
Resumo
FOMO (Fear of missing out) is a phenomenon that has emerged in the contemporary
scenario, directly affecting social interactions and human behavior, also manifesting
itself in the corporate environment. Thus, this article aims to discuss the impacts that
the FOMO syndrome causes on the health of workers. To this end, a bibliographic
review of literature of the integrative type was carried out. It is concluded, therefore,
that this syndrome generates feelings such as anxiety, fear, stress, irritability, inability
to learn and develop work activities, in addition to the difficulty in recognizing one's
own identity, resulting in several insecurities and negative emotions, and may even
trigger depressive symptoms.
