Análise da saúde mental de profissionais da linha de frente hospitalar da pandemia de covid-19.
Resumo
Considering the pandemic context and the damage caused to the general population, the present
study aimed to analyze the mental health of health professionals who worked on the front lines
of the covid-19 pandemic in a hospital in Ceará. The Perceived Stress Scale and the Anxiety,
Depression and Stress Scale were applied. It was observed that professionals from younger,
single people had greater symptoms of stress, professionals from the administrative sectors and
public service, such as reception and supervision, had high scores on the perceived stress scale.
Corroborating with the literature, it is possible to see that the pandemic caused damage to the
mental health of professionals who were directly linked to facing the coronavirus. It is
concluded that in the public analyzed, the abrupt changes in the work routine, in the social cycle
and in the hypervigilance in health care allowed the development ofsymptoms related to stress,
anxiety and depression.
