The disorder is an autistic syndrome that is characterized as an inherent disability to
the individual, such individuals are focused on aspects of specific interests,

how specialized educational assistance (AEE) acts in the lives of students with
Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and in the role of identifying, developing and
organizing pedagogical practices that contribute to the participation, accessibility of
all students, in order to validate their differences and needs. It aims to analyze
special education practices aimed at the development of young people with autism
and to discuss their impact on the lives of families of children and adolescents with
ASD. A methodological basis was used, the content analysis of qualitative data
called Bardin Content Analysis, which is related to the collection of data on the
questions present in the interview carried out with professionals who accompany
students with ASD and with the families of these children and young people, in that
the research setting was CREAECE. Semi-structured interviews were used as data
collection instruments. The interviews were conducted with (04) professionals, (02)
being psychologists who assist children with ASD and with the families of these
children and young people. The importance of individualized follow-up dedicated to
young people and their family members responsible for domestic care is observed.
The knowledge and understanding of parents and guardians regarding the diagnosis,
as well as the domestic continuity of the stimulation initiated by professionals, favors
the progress and evolution of students.
