Saúde mental infantil e psicoterapia no contexto da Pandemia.
Resumo
Abstract: This research reflects on the diagnosis and medicalization of children in the context of the pandemic and the physical, cognitive and psychosocial impacts. The Covid-19 pandemic brought consequent implications for the mental health of people, especially children from the experience of social isolation, all over the world. In order to analyze the changes in demands and the perception of medicalizing diagnostic processes in the context of the pandemic, the qualitative research was carried out through semi-structured interviews with four clinical child psychologists, who attended during the pandemic. The results obtained significantly contribute to the establishment of appropriate therapeutic strategies for children and families during and after the pandemic, as well as the redefinition of the perspective of parents, school and society on relational processes.
