Abstract

Nowadays, due to the covid 19 pandemic, there was a considerable increase in the prices of construction inputs, because of this, companies began to be more concerned with this topic. This work came from exploratory research of the theoretical type, using scientific articles, dissertations, thesis, books and magazines, an analysis was made in relation to the management of acquisitions and how it can be applied in a civil construction project and bring positive results. The best practices of this process were discussed, in order to explain the steps and the situation of this sector in relation to this type of management. With this study, it was possible to perceive the impact of management in relation to the criteria of schedule, costs and quality, showing that it is possible to have positive results in relation to this price increase.
