Presenteísmo e saúde mental dos trabalhadores: implicações e repercussões.

Abstract

The article aimed to investigate literature findings to understand the impact of presenteeism on workers. This integrative review included searches in databases which resulted in seven materials that were analyzed with the objectives of: Identifying the factors associated with the occurrence of presenteeism; investigate the relationship between presenteeism and workers’ mental health; identify the challenges in combating presenteeism. As a result, it was possible to verify that there are physical and mental factors that trigger presenteeism, and it is important to highlight that the opposite path between these variables also occurs, and that despite their relevance there are challenges to face to mitigate their effects.
